Building Inspection Services
In 2011, Tew and Taylor diversified services to include those for alternative plans review and inspection (Private Provider) pursuant to Florida Statute 553.791. Since that time, we have provided over 100 clients, both commercial and residential, with Private Provider plan review and building inspection services – thereby resulting in significant time and cost savings to our clients (the fee owner, developer, and building contractor).

Government Services & Consulting
Presently, Tew and Taylor provide all Building and Code Enforcement services to numerous municipalities in South Florida. In this capacity, we provide the local jurisdiction with all the necessary and qualified personnel to operate their day to day field operations and administrative duties as directed by the local government agency. Our Building Officials, Building Inspectors, and Code Enforcement Officers are an extension of your staff – serving on your behalf in the most timely and cost-efficient way. Other outsourcing services include Planning, Zoning, and Community Redevelopment Departments and Agencies.
Depending on local jurisdictions' staff fluctuations and workloads, Tew and Taylor also provides staff augmentation in the field of Community Development, including Building, Code Enforcement, and Planning and Zoning fields. Our expert staff of building personnel, code enforcement officers, and land planners are available to assist you when you need us – either on a short term or long-range arrangement.
Tew and Taylor's Planning Consultants are certified through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and provide a myriad of planning services to both the public and private sectors. Our experience ranges from concept designs to final site plan reviews and approvals to design of community redevelopment programs that meet and/or exceed the local jurisdictions' land development regulations. Our staff is particularly adept in understanding Florida Redevelopment legislation and the formulation of Community Redevelopment Agencies.
In today's environment of "not in my backyard (NIMBY)", it has become more and more difficult and costly to obtain timely zoning and land use entitlements/approvals required to proceed with project development. Our professional Planners pride themselves in understanding the local land development regulations and applying them to the needs of the property owner and developer. We are highly successful in working with local governmental planning and zoning departments and obtaining the necessary project land development approvals in both a timely and cost effective manner.
Our planning staff also works hand in hand with our Building Officials and Inspectors in the course of conducting construction plan review and assist them with construction compliance with the local zoning, architectural, and historical building development codes and regulations.
